I hope you are enjoying and using our new website!
This school year will be an important one. We are in the midst of negotiating a new contract, in addition to collaborating on an APPR plan with the District. Both are so vital to our future.
I will be asking for your input for the APPR plan, once the rubric is chosen. It is very important that you work with TAL leadership in giving us your feedback, as this evaluation system will be used to define and measure teaching excellence.
As to the negotiation process, we will continue to be professionals. We will continue to do our job to the best of our ability. As I stated in my opening day speech, "We know, the administration knows and the Board knows, we are the most valuable part of the educational process. Now we have to show the Board how to translate that appreciation into a fair settlement."
